Corey Benjamin is a lifelong guitarist and dedicated music educator based in Marietta, GA. Originally from Hartsville, South Carolina, Corey’s love for the guitar began in the late 1980s and quickly grew from curiosity into a deep, lasting passion. He started with classical guitar training and music reading in his early teens, eventually branching into rock, metal, and praise & worship styles through high school and beyond.
Over the years, Corey has performed in local bands, church worship teams, and original music projects, while also studying classical guitar at the University of South Carolina and music business at Musicians Institute in Los Angeles. His teaching experience includes working with students from age 5 to adult, helping them develop foundational skills, musical confidence, and a personal connection to the instrument.
Today, Corey focuses on sharing his love for guitar with others through thoughtful, student-centered instruction. He believes in meeting each student where they are—whether they’re brand new to music or looking to grow as a player.
