About Nani Harborth

Nani Harborth is a dedicated and passionate music educator who has enriched the lives of many students with her profound love for music. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from Texas A&M University-Kingsville, where she studied under Dr. Joachim Reinhuber, Dr. Kellie Lignitz-Hahn and Dr. Kenneth Williams.

As a teacher, Harborth has been teaching private piano, voice clarinet and beginner ukulele for many year and has taught six years music in public schools.

Harborth started her music journey at a young age of 2 from singing in church with grandma and mom to learning piano at the age of nine. She studied under Barbara Goetsch who encouraged her to compete in the Corpus Christi Hymn Festivals and U.I.L Solo and ensembles through out middle and high school. In sixth grade, Harborth picked up the clarinet and excelled in many ways through out middle and high school. She started her music education degree with an emphasis in clarinet, performing with marching band and concert bands. She began to realize that piano was her passion and she switched towards the piano/choir world. Harborth has performed as a vocalist with the Texas A&M University-Kingsville Concert Choir, Chamber singers and multiple community choirs. In 2015 and 2016, she was a semi finalist for the NATS competitions. In 2017, she performed as a soprano soloist with the Kingsville Symphony Orchestra for Mozart’s Requiem Mass in D minor. In 2020, she was one of many who managed to Perform with Eric Whitaker’s virtual choir.

Ms. Nani is diverse in her learning and her students benefit from her patient and encouraging demeanor, which fosters a positive and productive learning environment. She believes everyone has a voice, the power to transform, illuminate and inspire others with music.
