About Xavier Toodle Jones

Xavier Jones is a seasoned musician and dedicated teacher with over 15 years of experience in performance, recording, and music education. He's worked with a wide range of artists and groups, including Adekunle Gold, B.o.B, Sean Tizzle, Robert Glasper, Anonymous Da Band, Zach Wilson, Dara Carter, Ryan Kilgore, Julie Dexter, Mausiki Scales and Common Ground Collective, Justice Michael, Frank Houston, PJ Spraggins, Kelly O’Neal, Phil Davis, Sonny Emory, and many others.

Xavier’s musical journey started early—at just two years old, he was already playing drums at his local church. As he grew, he studied classical piano and joined school programs for percussion and bass. He played in the Rialto Youth Jazz Orchestra at Georgia State University, performed with his high school marching band, and was the bassist for Atlanta’s jazz-fusion group Anonymous Da Band. While attending Kennesaw State University for architecture, he also dove deep into music production, mixing, and mastering as an audio engineer. His diverse background allows him to connect with students in many different ways, whether they’re just starting out or looking to grow their skills.

Over the years, Xavier has performed across the U.S. and internationally in places like Singapore and Saint Martin. He’s played festivals and venues including the Atlanta Jazz Festival, Jacksonville Jazz Festival, Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre, Buffalo Jazz Festival, and Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

In addition to performing, Xavier has worked with students and families through weddings, private events, corporate gigs, summer camps, conferences, and volunteer work at local churches and the YMCA. His approachable and flexible teaching style helps create a supportive environment where learners of all ages can explore music with confidence and creativity.
